“A valuable resource in our library”

Complimentary copies of this book were sent to President Trump, Vice President Pence, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, each of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, each of the Supreme Court Justices and United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.

In response, President Trump sent a printed thank you card.  Not-yet-confirmed Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch sent a personally signed thank you letter.

General Robert B. Neller, Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, sent a personal letter saying, “Thank you for your moving letter and the copy of your book, The Reynolds Family, the Nuclear Age, and a Brave Wooden Boat.  I appreciate your passion for sharing your family’s experiences and the human side of what happened at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Your book will be a valuable resource in our library at the Home of the Commandants.

“Many thanks for the time and effort you put into this important work.

All the best,

Sincerely, Robert B. Neller”
